 I'm a comic

1.  Is the tiny comedy show an open mic?  Are there drop-on or lotto spots?

  • The tiny comedy show is a booked show, which means all the performers are booked well in advance.

2.  How is a booked show different than an open mic show?

  • At an open mic, there may be "show up and go up" opportunities or a draw / lotto for spots at show time.
  • At a booked show, all the performers are pre-booked with professional and/or talented, experienced amateurs.
  • The tiny comedy show is a booked show, and all performers receive some payment.

3.  I'm a comic, may I come hang out and see the show without a ticket?

  • No, unfortunately there is limited seating at these venues so there's only seating for the audience and the booked comics.

4.  I'm a new comic, how can I get booked on the show?

  • In general, once you have been performing for a while, your writing and performing style starts to emerge, you might be booked.  There is sometimes a "beginner" spot on the show.
  • Not everybody's writing or performing style is right for the tiny comedy show.
  • If you want to introduce your self, so the producer(s) can be on the lookout for you and see your material, please do.

4.  I've performed on the show before, I want a spot again, should I check in with the producer and ask for a spot?

  • No, if you've been on the show before no need to check in.
  • You will be contacted if and when there is a spot available for you.

5.  I'm performing on the show, does my friend / person / spouse  need a ticket?

  • Yes.   There is generally very limited seating at these venues so there is room for performers and the audience.
  • If you check in advance with the producer on this, allowances can sometimes be made.

6. I'm from out of town, I will be in town, may I check in to see if there are spots available?

  • Yes, you may reach out with an introduction, but please be aware the show is booked well in advance.
